In Doodle Club, we help children with dyslexia to listen and understand better by doodling what they hear. Most teachers see kids doodling as a sign of inattention. However, for most dyslexics doodling can actually help them to focus and understand better, rather than putting all their attention into writing notes.
During the session, the facilitator will tell a short story while the children doodle it. After the storytelling, we’ll ask one or two volunteers to share the story again with the use of their doodles. You’ll be surprised how well the students recall the story with just simple doodles to help them remember. Join the Doodle Club now
