How to Learn to Study with Dyslexia or Dysgraphia

Sign up for a free webinar and learn about the 5 gears of stick shift thinking that will help transform your dyslexic child’s mindset, skills and way of working.

Dysgraphia and dyslexia can greatly affect our children’s learning at school. They can learn to read but then have difficulty with comprehension, note taking and explaining their ideas. Why?

A lot of it comes down to understanding that our children are manual thinkers when it comes to learning to read and learning to study. They need the skills to go up the gears with their stick shift thinking and they can’t be taught by someone who only knows automatic. How can we equip them then? What are the gears? What’s the first gear? How do you get into the high gears?

The solution is to find a reliable visual system to do the job

In this webinar, I will share with you the skills and technique to go up the gears of learning that will transform your child’s mindset, skills and way of working in school. You may think of me as someone who knows the manual gear box of a dyslexic and dysgraphic ‘car’, gets in the car with you and shows you how to do the gears. 😉

I am also going to expand on our “Stick Shift” video in this web talk. In case you haven’t watched it yet, here it is. In this 3 minute video, I explain the “Processing difficulties” of Dyslexia as ‘manual’ v’s ‘automatic’ thinking using a car analogy.

I am passionate about helping you equip your child with skills to learn how to study with dyslexia and dysgraphia. Explore the possibilities of a visual study system that will help transform your child’s mindset, skills and way of working.
